NOW AVAILABLE: CCBill EU-DEBIT!!!

Offer EU-Debit through your E-Venue and increase your ability to reach the European Market segment!

CCBill EU-Debit offers your German and Austrian customers the ability to purchase subscriptions to your E-Venue via their bank account, enabling you to reach millions of European consumers who do not have or choose not to use credit cards.

Electronic debit systems are the most widely accepted form of payment in Europe today, and work by withdrawing funds for transactions directly from a European customer?s bank account, making it ideal for Internet transactions. EU-Debit has a strong reputation for providing secure online transaction services, designed to meet the special requirements of European customers!

Processing rules for EU-Debit transactions are similar to online checks for subscription billing. These transactions will be deducted electronically from the European customer's checking account in a converted native currency amount equal to the US dollar sale amount. The European customer will only need to have their bank routing number and a checking account number to be billed. (German customers will also be required to provide their Country Identification Card Number, for age verification purposes.)

Details:

* Setup Fee: NONE

* Monthly Minimum: NONE

* Security Deposit: NONE

* Transaction Fees: Normal CCBill Processing rates apply. However, an additional fee will be assessed by CCBill on all returned debit items.

* Payouts: Each CCBill EU-Debit charge which is applied to a consumer?s bank account is collected from our EU-Debit service provider. CCBill only pays you for those transactions for which we have been paid by our EU-Debit service provider.

To learn more about CCBill EU-Debit, visit the Premium Features Area in the CCBill webadmin, and click on the Partners tab where you will find a link to the CCBill EU-Debit information page.

Please Note: Only the Principal for your Account will have the ability to access the online sign up for CCBill EU-Debit. Detailed CCBill EU-Debit Sign up Instructions can be found on the EU-Debit information page within the Premium Features Area.

As our Industry continues to change, it is our goal at CCBill to continually offer you innovative solutions to support your website?s success today, tomorrow and into the future. This is more like EU ACH; it's a transfer of funds from one back account to another. No debit or credit card is needed!

Currently we support 2 countries; Germany (the country with the most EU Debit usage) and Austria. We will be adding the Netherlands in the near future. Additional countries are also in the works.

And most restrictive pornsite regulations. :)

WarChild 08-03-2006 11:43 AM

Now you just need to make it so a Canadian with a Canadian passport can sign the Visa contract in order to bill for an EU company in the EU. :(

Kimo 08-03-2006 11:50 AM

very nice

This is a Visa regulation. The principle and sponsored merchant must reside in the same Visa region as the acquiring bank. Please contact us if you have any questions.

NaughtyRob 08-03-2006 12:04 PM

Faxing my form in today, good stuff.

The problem of course being that there is no Canadian region. Strangley enough, Paycom doesn't seem to have to follow this particular regulation. It's frustrating, because a Canadian must essentially take on a partner in an existing billing region.

There is a Canadian region just not a bank willing to participate in it. I understand your frustration and wish I could be of more help but we must adhere to regulation.

Tuga 08-03-2006 12:28 PM

If you add Portugal I will make bank.

Big_Red 08-03-2006 12:44 PM

fax sent. lets rock and roll.:thumbsup

webgurl 08-03-2006 12:54 PM

Diligent 08-03-2006 12:58 PM

Holy Guacamole..!

This is sooo hot..! :thumbsup :pimp

Finally a fitting way to bank on these countries...
The right sites can probably ten-fold what they make
currently on these countries - Germany alone.

Clear...Sorry for the dumb questions, but this means soon we can bill everyone with a DEBIT card? (so no visa/mastercard, but just a 'bankaccount' with maestro for example)

Also, how will the process go? They fill in their bankaccount, and they get instant access? or will they be called, to check the info? (like localbilling does, as far as I know)

Andre

Juilan 08-03-2006 01:38 PM

Awesome! Add Belgium/Luxembourg pls.

Sorry for the confusion. The EU Debit system works like US e-checks or ACH. The consumer does not need a bank card or debit card, all they need is their bank account information. The consumer enters their bank account information into the signup page, we pull the funds from their bank account and credit them to you.

For Germany and Austria it is. For future EU countries it may or may not be depending on the local regulations and systems.
