So do you think it's bad to use the word "Euro" when marketing Euro content?
Have any of you had this same experience....
1. You push a site like one of the perfectgonzo sites and it converts like crazy...all of the stuff is shot in Europe, it's shot well, and the girls are SMOKING. 2. You push a site with very similar content, but the word "euro" somewhere in the title and it doesn't sell as well. Anyone else had this happen? Do you think it's better to just let the hot chicks sell the site and not to pigeon-hole it? |
Yes, you hit the nail on the head.

I think that stating the location of the girls takes away the fantasy that she could possibly be living next door. Sites are all about the fantasy, some of the blanks need to be filled in by the surfer.

That's interesting. On a serious note, and I'm not trying to lead this thread into a racist-like issue, but do you think it has anything to do with patriotism?
i.e. what are the numbers for all-american girl sites vs sites that are labelled as euro-sourced content? |
no, i don't think it has anything to do with patriotism. i think it has to do with a feeling of connection to the models - a feeling of the ability to communicate. i was in mikesapartment recently and they were doing the "you pay the rent by putting out" thing to a model who very obviously had no clue what they were saying - it pretty much ruined the theme of the video.
