ultra noob photoshop question
 

when i change a pic into black and white and save it it gets saved as the normal colour pic....
what do i do wrong

Hm, how do you change it to a Black and white?

try to go ... File > Save as for web

you will get a preview... of the final image.

via changing channels...

Do this... go... Layer > New Adjustment Laywer > Hue/Saturation

this will do what you want... turn down the Sat. :)

image - adjust - desaturate ;)

then save for web .
