Just got this message ''Your ICQ being used on another computer'' and my ICQ closed down.

What can I do? Anyone had this before?

maybe you disconnected and reconnected fast, sometimes this happens.. if this is not the case, quickly change your password

Ok cool, just changed my password, logged off and logged in and it worked. But hell, it did scare me. Just woke up and then you got this kinda message. Hope its solved now.

Make sure that you do not have two windows sessions with the same icq in use, it happend one time to me.

Change the password quickly and you will be ok

I get this when windows update reboots another one of my machines and my laptop logs in over my main pc or back and forth...

That is very common especially when you log your ICQ from another PC and forgot to uncheck the box for 'Save Password' or 'Auto Login'.

I just had the same thing happen to me. No other machines on my network logged on. I went and changed the PW but I am still wondering what might have happened.

alot of people have asked me about this recently and it also happened to me.. i suggest if your worried make sure you have security set to "high" on icq , and save your contact list

Reak...I had this happen to me as well last week.

Changed my password, then it happened again. Changed my password again, and now it looks ok !

I know for sure that no other computer were openned !

Same here. It's happened not just on my ICQ, but other messenger's this year.

I just quickly change password, and solve it.
