Not sure if Photoshop's imageready can open .wmv's but it can open avi. If it can't open wmv just convert it to avi then import it into image ready with all frames, or if it's a very large file you may want to use the option to drop everyother frame.

take a screenshot, crop and save ;)

btw - dunno if Flash does wmv, but it does avi

How exactly is that a stupid answer? Say I tell him how to do it using Premier Pro and ImageReady and he doesn't have either of those programs, what good did it do for me to explain it to him? None. If I know what software he does have available, I can answer his question a lot easier...

yeah.. you have to convert it to avi or mpeg.. and then open it with imageready cs2 then save optimized as gif.. :thumbsup
