Why is it OK for Kid?s Shows to have Sexual Innuendo in them?
 

My niece and her mom came over to watch some TV since they just moved to a new place and the dish mover thing won?t be completed until tomorrow, anyways? I?m sitting in my office doing some work and I hear them watching some show in the background. It?s some kid show (you can tell because of the shitty theme music) about people running a hotel. I start ripping some more video and I lean back in my chair and relax, listening to their show. Some baseball people had came to their hotel and were bitching about something?

All seemed innocent enough until I heard someone (presumably an adult woman) utter this phrase while talking to a kid about one of the baseball guys: ?I sure would like to play CATCH with his glove?, adding emphasis on the word catch.

So let me get this straight: You create a porn site, you do everything reasonably possible within your power to keep kids out. You create entry pages, you plaster adult only everywhere, you make it as clear as day that your site is dedicated to an adult for adult purposes?.

Then these mother fucking producers of kids show can go out of there way to bring in adult innuendo into their shows, INTENTIONALLY targeting children with lewdness. Do they get in trouble? Do they have to suffer? No? WHY THE FUCK NOT? They are intentionally targeting children and don?t have to worry about 2257 bullshit or any other crap, but adult sites who actually go out of there way to PROTECT kids get shit on at every corner?

GOD DAMN IT this shit pisses me off more and more, I?m about ready to write my congressman with a really nasty letter! That?ll show them! *sighs* I need coffee. Or beer. Fuck, just give me vodka to be safe.


*For the record, I know that all the old cartoons like by warner bros. and shit had their fair share of adult content in them, primarily because they were targeted towards adults to begin with. Anyways, I really saw nothing wrong with that show described above but with our glorious politicians on the anti-lewdness towards children bullshit, I'm really surprised more kid's shows have not came under fire yet. Hell they probably have and I'm just a communist.

Yep, I'm really just wondering as to *why* with all this pc bullshit they haven?t gone after these kids shows. They always go after shows like South Park... yet they are clearly targeted to adults. Why not go after the shows targeted to kids that have adult situations and lewdness in them even though their rating is like G or PG lol... the disney movies that are able to get passed through the MPAA with such a low rating shock the fuck out of me.

Disney have so many inside jokes in the movise... they are the one that started the double-meaning jokes in the children movies. They are the reason why Shreck and all theses other comedies made a fortune.

What about movies like "Not Another Teen Movie"? ok starts off with a "teen" girl masturbating with a huge vibrator and obviously getting off. One "teen" girl fucks anyone and everyone and goes on and on how she wants to fuck her brother. Another scene 2 geeky 14/15 year old meet the other 14/15 year old girl of their dreams and she notes she "only" does hand jobs on the first date. A running gag has a foreign exchange student walking around naked on campus through the movie. And there is other shit. Now these characters are supposedly "teens" are they CLEARLY engaging in sexual acts, but it's WE that are the bad guys and have to have all these bullshit laws. Hollywood? They can do whatever the fuck they like.

I don't really believe in censorship. I think shows should be able to do whatever they want as long as they have a disclaimer before the show and a proper rating. If you don't like it then don't watch it is the motto I like to go by.

I see your point though about why these "kids" shows aren't targetted. I noticed that the priest had a hard on when my younger sister was watching the tape. I was like "whoa, they can do that?" Made me laugh, didn't really bother me because I know kids will never get the innuendos anyway.
