Chinese culture doesn't have much respect for animal welfare.

That's actually mild compared to pics I've seen out of China from the animal welfare groups I support.

Usually to tenderize the dog meat instead of slaughtering the dog quickly they hang it from a wire rope and then beat it slowly with a baseball bat to break all the bones so the dog is in total agony and pain for about 30 minutes before it dies.

They also blowtorch them to death.

They also will stick them all over with a knife.

They also skin dogs and cats alive without killing them first. Just slice their hide open and then start pulling it off of them.

The believe the adrenaline and shock reaction makes the meat more tender.

Besides, medical and military lab experiment pics, which are beyond horrendous in every country, the asian animal abuse pics are the worst you'll see.

Besides the public awareness campaigns, there isn't really a way to effectively stop the abuse.

Hope you get clubbed to death, instead of a bullet or injection ... Shouldn't make such a difference . Anyway, you are going to die one day ....

Absolutely ... and I am against the clubbing of seals ( baby or not ) for the same reasons ...

If you have to put down animals, do it with a bit of compassion ... If it does cost more, consumer will end up paying for it ( think of oil and all the by-products ... )

of the dogs there were vaccinated against rabies? If you can't be a responsible pet owner . . . .

yes , and going to a person with a dog , clubbing him to death on the spot , will make you find out if he was vaccinated or not !!!

With a 97% chance that it isn't vaccinated, I highly doubt many vaccinated dogs were affected.

In our own backyard, I've seen footage of the abuse chickens and so forth. Crabs and lobsters are boiled alive because people believe it makes the meat more tender. Seals are slaughtered up north. People still buy fur and ivory and we know where adn how those are gotten. Maybe we should think about all the industrial pollutants that we throw into our rivers, lakes, and oceans. Luckily we don't have to live in that water, but the sea animals do. That effects tens of millions more animals than some Chinese dudes taking out stray dogs to control disease.

the only thing I doubt right now is your sanity , any person trying to defend the actions of the idiots who decided this is just plane insane!!
