I've been trying to get some of our mainstream stuff onto there for months. Perhaps I'll just annoy them by filling out the forms often enough.

you can host your own domains, put anything up on them, just like any other host? all for free?

It's not web hosting. It's hosted email. Essentially, you use Google as your mail servers for your domain. And then you can create up to 2000 free email addresses under your domain, all hosted by Gmail, all with 2+ gigs of storage.

In other words, you can offer free emails addresses in the form of [email protected], but with all the benefits of Gmail (web-based interface, 2+ gigs storage, spam filters, etc).
