How well do your blogs do?
 

What kind of traffic do your blogs get? Right now, I've got 2 in the range of 1500-2000 hits a day and 3 others that are getting about 300-500 hits a day. Each are updated 5-6 times a week. Depending in the blog, I'm seeing about 1 in 20 clicking through to sponsors. Is this decent?

with 2k-5k uniques you should be able to pull of 5-7 signups a day

I'm averaging 8-10k a day. I shutdown my other blogs to focus on building one.

make a few bucks on it but the money grows with more traffic :)

The blog gets about 2000 hits and 1 in 20 (or 5%) of those click through to a sponsor. So 2000 hits to my blog in a day generates 100 hits to a sponsor.

I'd shit my pants if I got 5-7 sales a day with 100 hits to a sponsor...

i would suggest really focusing on your trades. i would advise againt posting link trades on gfy, then everyone and their momma will want to trade with you. i would get 5-12 solid trades going. once you get some nice se traffic, you should be able to do it.

2k is not eqal 2k..

2k visitors from targeted keywords eg from google, will convert even better..
2k vistors from trades and bullshit traffic and bad blog content, even worser..

my main one does about 700 uniques/day so far, my secondary 250uniques/day google traffic, sales are low though.

I'm just starting into this blogosphere. But I've got a couple of blogs that I really do write myself, are updated daily and they should do well.

How is this a blog? Am I missing something? I always thought blogs are the sites that contain someone's BS about some topic or all topics at once. Like a diary.

It is run with blog software and has daily updates similar to a blog, that is about as close as it gets...and as much as I love writing out huge long entries and giving the surfer a lot of info abut the pictures, one thing I learned after starting 10 blogs, surfers want porn, not talking about porn

That totally depends on what type of surfer you have. I do fetish blogs, as you know, and those surfers want the writing and will stop coming if you don't give it to them. They want as close to a 'proper' blog as you can give them. To them it is about forming a relationship with the blog and getting turned on at the same time.

I am almost always working in the porn star / babe niche, and usually my surfers just want pretty pictures/movie to jerk off too, and while some may like the stories, they just prefer a little tidbit of info and a place to leave a comment if they want

People think that if they use a blog script it becomes a blog.

Most people would kill for 2-5k to their blog every day. In most cases it is a slow build up of traffic that eventually reaches that level if you keep updating. The one thing I do see is too many people that pretty much only do tgp stuff complaining at the smaller amounts of traffic. Go back and learn the idea behind free sites first and you will be more realistic. If you are doing your blogs properly than that is usually SE traffic that should convert at much lower ratios than tgp traffic. Not to mention blogs are great for filtering traffic.

yes we call that a tgp not a blog, either gallery traffic or bought traffic to your blog

so by your numbers then you have a blog with 60k traffic a day and 2k to 5k is worth up to 7 signups. so your blog must be doing 40 to 50 signups a day right

My blog gets about 1.5k uniques per day, and I'd be ecstatic if I had one sign up per day. I think a more realistic figure is 1 signup per week, on average. This, of course, isn't counting Dating Gold and WEGCash and other sponsors I promote that have free signups... I'm talking about the standard $30-$35 PPS affiliates.

my first (and only) blog was my tester blog and i've learned alot from it. what to do, what NOT to do, what to sell, etc etc. so now that i've learned how to make a blog 70% SE traffic and get insane ratios, i think its time to start another "baby" :)

I don't really follow traffic stats too much. As long as i'm getting sign-ups and making money, i'm happy.
