Given the fetch/window of the hurricans we should have some surf out in front of the hotel. Anyone want to join me?

Dude! I actually know a great place to surf when the storms come in... there is a breakwater south of the hotel at the Haulover inlet..... maybe I will borrow a wave runner to pull you out on. :-))))

On the very rare occasions (when there are hurricanes), that there is surf down here, I just borrow boards from friends. I do know of a rental shop in miami beach....

That's only a couple miles from my home town. I grew up surfing in Cocoa, Sebastian Inlet, Satellite Beach, Ponce Inlet and Daytona.

best surf in FL: New smyrna about 15 mins south of me. if i was going to hollywood, i would bring some boards for people but im not gonna beable to make it.
