Things are looking up

After much hassle with Toshiba, it looks like they have finally gotten it together, and portions of my order for the Satellite R20 Notebook are starting to roll in. Naturally, the actual notebook probably won't get here until I leave town, but it will give me something to look forward to upon my return.

Oh cool. That'll be a nice welcome home package.

See you in FL, hon!

Yes it will be, but I am not going to FL . . . going to Sturgis, SD.

A well-deserved vacation. First real one in many years.

I talked to JFK earlier today and there will be several hundred up on FUBAR when I get back.

And yeah, I am looking forward to getting this thing set up, and using it as my primary, so when I leave town I will have all data with me instead of just bits and pieces.

Can you say FREEDOM!! ? :) :thumbsup

Hope you enjoy it. :thumbsup Now if I can just get them to replace my battery (wont' keep a charge, still six months under warranty) and are giving me the run-around about it... blah.

Toshiba is giving the run around? goodgirl was telling me she has had very positive experiences with Toshiba's customer service (as opposed to Dell).
