ARRRGGGGHHH ...Cusotmer Service in this country....(rant)
I hate Customer service in the US now. What is wrong with these companies? they outsource their telephone customer service to people that have NO concept of the english language or how to deal with customer issues.
It kills me, and english is my second language. I can only imagine how a native English speaker must feel.
I am on the phone with Delta customer service US (Call routed to India of course)
I was trying to make some changes to my ticket.
First the lady could not understand my confirmation number. i would say "p" as in Paul and she would repeat "C" as in Charlie (insert indian accent here)
So i hang up on her. I call back and get another guy named Steve (Clearly named Sanjay Singh but Steve I guess is the English translation) He tells me that my ticket is not a ybld or something and that is all he says. I ask him what that is. He says it is a code in our system. I tell him i understand that but what does it mean. He says that it is a special code for Delta ticketing. I ask so what you are saying is that I can not make changes to the ticket? Steve (Sanjay) answers No sir. I ask No as in "you are NOT saying that I can't make any changes?" or No as in I can not make changes?
He answers No sir. At this point i threw my hands in the air and hung up the phone! :helpme
