The first suggestion I would have is allow the webmaster more control of the name.
Instead of th_0001.jpg

What if I wanted "tn_01.jpg, or "tn1.jpg"? Everyone has their own preferance.. just my .02

We have added a new feature with file names - now users can choose names and thumbnail number at their own wish.
