OK chill - the old ICQ emoticons are still there
 

ICQ is forcing updates to 5.1 - i freaked when i saw the new emoticons - thought i lost my little friends. they're still there -

go to Preferences-->Skins/Appearance and you'll see where you change the emoticons back to C:\Program Files\ICQLite\Smilies\OldSmilies

but for the record, the old ones ( introduced like 9 months ago ) also sucked compared to the older ones

i forget the old icq smilies - i remember these last ones took some getting used to but they are now my favorite smiley collection anywhere.

weird how you associate certain people with certain smilies cuz they are the only people who use them much.
