    im bored so heres some information on securing your PC

    wether you know it or not more then likely your computer definitely has spyware and ot trojans or other apps on it

    your factory new system comes ready for exploitation out of the box

    google the apps I mention and instal and use them in the order I describe

    1. backup you drive
    2. google DBAN wipe disk
    3. do a 35 pass wipe on your drive with DBAN
    4 install windows
    5 get all the updates even the ones you dont need
    6 get drive crypt 4.2 and DCPP
    7. encrypt your entire disk and MBR use the longest password in the world
    8 disable auo updates
    9 set privacy to high in IE
    10. download instal NOD32 antivirus
    11. restore you backed up files on the encrypted disk
    12. do a 35 pass pass wipe on the backup media

    have a drink

                  if your not up to all that crap, get a mac

                  but I agree, NOD32 is good (except for the boot lag).

                          avast will not detect what the goberment dosent want you to detect

                              macs are good for avoiding windows viruses but in case you did not know MACS ron on a *nix based OS now and haz0rs know *nix flavors inside out

                              in fact its easier to hide a root kit on a mac then a PC

                                              as long as the mistake dosent kill you

                                              or your bottom line

                                              linux is wonderful if you know what you are doing I suggest anyone new to linux run the OS on a non production machine for at least a year before taking the leap
