Damn, that is terrible, and basically 1 minute away from where it's fun to hang out. That area is very strange, It's very high scale/collegekids/niceshopping area and then borders on this really ghetto community.

Sad Story ...

A few years ago, I was in Boca at a gas station ( I-95) paying the attendant. A foreigner ( German ) came in to ask direction how to get into Miami ... It was about 11:00 PM..

The attendant ( a hispanic ) started mumbling directions, which were wrong ...
I looked at the rental car ( Thrifty ) and saw he had kids and probably his wife...

So I told him to look across at the CONFORT INN, and that he should stay there overnight ... He asked why, and I told him that many carjacking and killing had taken place lately ...

I left ... don't know what he did, but if he was to get lost in Dade county, his life wouldn't be worth much...

thats just fucked up.

I firmly believe that people don't just get shot for no reason at all.

He's from Ill. but he's in Coconut Grove and drops his son off somewhere? That says he's at least vaguely familiar with the area.

Ya never know what people are up to.
