How important is Pay Pal webmaster payments to you?
 

Should it be a high priority to start paying webmasters
via Pay Pal.

Or do people really not care cause they know they are going to get paid by check or wire.

We are adding Pay Pal to all Platinum Bucks sites as an alternative payment method, of course ALL WEBMASTERS get credit on pay pal sales, that is a must.

So just let me know if you really like to be paid by Pal Pal also

I would choose a sponsor with paypal that I make 20 % less money than another without that makes 20 % more ...

Hell yeah paypal is cool.

I have the paypal debit/atm card, and I hit the atm once or twice a week.

Green for green, I pretty much smoke my rebills!

But yeah, getting paid as a webmaster via paypal is way cool too. I'd definitely be more interested in a program that did that.

We should all support Paypal anyway -- every time a Paypal transaction goes through we secure a little piece of our future in this biz... We can't let the CC companies have totalitarian control.

As for safety -- I wouldn't trust all my income to it -- but it's probably as reliable as the postal service...

WIth paypal, you don't have to go back and forth with those shady sponsors saying, "you check was mailed" either you were paid through paypal or you weren't.

Paypal is most definitely the way to go - I pay almost all of my online shit with them and am more than happy to receive payment that way - I get charged about $10 to cash a US$ cheque (live in the UK) so it's easier for me to receive money into my paypal account so I can pay my US connections.

1. Sponsors who accept paypal from surfers and pay webmasters thru paypal.

2. Sponsors who have a SHITLOAD of hosted galleries for the affiliates to use.

3. All other sponsors will be left behind. PERIOD. IMO

If pay pal continues to get more and more popular then the credit card companies wont feel like they are king shit.

Pay Pal in 5 years may be the only option left on the internet as it gains more trust.

A lot of people feel this way about paypal... I had one problem with their service, once, and it was fixed rather quick. Also, the issue was not paypal, it was visa (big surprise).

I trust paypal a hell of a lot more than I trust the IRS, or my bank who required me to fill out a tax form when I opened my account.

When paypal asks for my ssn, I will probably use them less.

I was taking a survey of my SinTalk webmasters and most of them seemed to think PayPal payments would be teriffic. There were just a few hold-outs that said 'they liked to see the check'

I think it's definitely the way to go! As a sponsor it's easy, you simply send off a properly formatted file and then all your affiliates get paid... Easy! :thumbsup

Platinum Bucks spends $25,000 a month in advertising our program. That is more then 90% the programs out there

You know this question I asked has REALLY opened my eyes, I kinda thought it was not that big a deal.

Now that I see its so popular I will definately, definately be paying webmasters via Pay Pal by the end of this month.

And another thing is that this question is for all sponsors.

No seriously, its a competitive filed out their, Platinum Bucks strives to be the cream of the crop, so I apreciate the feed back.

Bankwires take upto 2-3 days to go through and be confirmed. Banks have cut-off times when you can send a wire and when money can be recieved, if you miss those times by a few minutes your transaction is for the next day. When dealing in different time zones this has an effect. If someone in Europe is paid via paypal from someone in the US they have access to that money within a few minutes of the transaction being completed. If someone in the US does a wire transfer to someone in Europe then you are looking at a couple of days. Banks in the US open at 8am, but generally send their transfers once a day, usually at the end of the day when the European banks are closed. Then since most European banks are archaic, they don't post the money until after the close of the banking day, so the person might not have access to it until the next business day.

So yes, bankwire is an alternative, albeit slower than paypal. I could give two fucks how my money gets to me, as long as it gets to me quickly.
