Israel supporters lets be serious
I think its real cowardly of israel to bomb lebanon into oblivion instead of sending soilders in to get the job done
had that been the united states our boys would have had boots on the ground getting the job done instead of air bombing the shit out of children This really pisses me off so my question is this do you feel that israel is going about it the wrong way?? do you think they need to man up and put boots on the ground and stop blindy air bombing those children?? . the death of 37 children is sickening to me is it to you?? |
israels actions are sickening me as well, but it seems most people are scared to talk about it or scared to talk bad about israel in general. even the government of america is scared to talk bad or condemn israel. it makes me sick, for fuck sakes, when someone does something wrong like this, it should be damn easy to admit it and condemn it. this whole raid on lebanon has been wrong from the start, but i guess two israeli lives are more important then 500 lebanese lives.
those kids that were killed is so sad, i literally had tears and i have no relation to people in the middle east at all. god bless the middle east. |

No sane individual - nevermind a collective body in the form of a govt - bombs the offices of another leader simply because of the capture of soldiers. That's stupid move #1. From that alone - it sets any hope of peace back 20 years. The continuance to the loss of life and damage to homes and infrastructure simply compounds the stupidity. It is hard to learn the lesson of "you reap what you sow" - that started in 1967 and continued with ghetto camps and oppression of people for decades. This breeds action by what is easily labelled "terrorists". Did they ever fight for no valid reason??? Bottom line, Israel will reap what has been sown over decades - along with others who supported their actions. History has never proven this to be any different. |

I can think of one reason why Israel would choose a remote attack over sending troops in.
Sending troops in puts their soldiers' lives at risk. Sending a missile.. does not. I'm not saying I support that reason, I'm simply saying that might be a possible reason, that's all. Another part of the reason might be that, if they were to send in an army then a lot of people in the world would criticize them for sending an occupation force into Lebanon. Why not write a letter to the Israeli government and tell them you think they're doing it wrong? Maybe a petition? |
The problem is this is an urban war which is the hardest type to fight.
Hezbollah operates and launches from civilian neighborhoods not easy to spot and target military bases. Missles and weapons are stored in people's garages and launched from civilian neighborhoods on trucks. So this type of situation will always create tragedies like what has been happening. Its very fucked up to see anyone's kids die. At the same time if a powerful group like Hezbollah is publicly stating their mission is to destroy Israel and wipe their whole country off the map, and is continuing to fire over 100 missles a day into Israel, Israel doesn't have many options as to how to respond. I hate violence. But all sides in this war are used to it and have had violent conflicts for decades. So diplomacy doesn't work well, because both sides are notorious for not honoring their agreements. Why anyone would want to live in this part of the world to begin with is beyond my comprehension. Even if I had not a single dollar I would find a way get my family the fuck out of that land. Everyone there is living on a timebomb just waiting to explode. |

and since when is YOUR intelligence better than theirs when it comes to choosing targets and knowing whats actually happening on the ground? |
Lebanon is just the battleground - the war is between Iran and the US.
Afganistan and Iraq are the same deal, just battles. Iraq has been a major fuck up of course - but thats the deal. Iran are in danger of becoming a superpower - and that cant happen - under any circumstances. |
What Israel is doing is very harsh but the world community needs to grow the balls to take out these cockaroach terrorist groups. Hezbollah should have been eliminated years ago and the Palestinian government does not have the resources to do it alone. This whole situation is a world community problem that will never be solved. The world is headed for some serious shit...

additionally, i have said over and over again, its not about iran having nuclear weapons. it's the fact that iran supports terrorism and would gladly hand over nuclear material to numerous worldwide terrorist organizations. the us and the rest of the world can not allow this to happen. if you thought 911 was bad, wait til a terror group detonates a dirty bomb in a major world city. if we dont go to war with iran now, we will later. although i hate the thought of another war, i would rather see it done now than later.. |
Apparantly Bin Laden is getting pissed off with this fight for all the wrong reasons. He has been pushed off the front pages. His ego is dented. Instead of him and his cronies looking like the savior of the Arab world, Hezbollah have stepped up to the plate and are waging an effective fight hiding behind the skirts of women.
Pity about Lebanon, their women and children, but then most of them don't give a fuck as it isn't their country. Most of their families are praying and reading the Koran safely somewhere else. Lyn |

Bush is a Christian soldier defending Christian interests. You are the only one not knowing that Christians are being persecuted in Muslim countries and no one gives a shit about it. |
None of you knows shit about what's going on there.
Why don't you ask about what happened with Christian majority in Lebanon since last 30 years ? So, you actually support Hezbollah without knowing any shit about situation there. The day when Iran will get nuclear weappon will be the end for your famous USA. |

It must be fun to be able to spit out baseless comments without reference and assert them as widly accepted fact. Hello Mr. Colbert. |
