Who likes Hiking?
I'm going on my first hiking jaunt in ten years tomorow, since I've barely been walking a year now. I have no clue what's going to happen. I'm sure I'll be in alot of pain but it should be interesting. Other than a camera and water, what else do I bring.

How long is the hike?
I went on a great hike last year. 40 miles in two days/one night. Meander meadows/kodak peak in western washington state. Tough climb but well worth the effort |

Sturdy shoes, windbreaker, a cell phone with a full battery, and a few candy bars.
Make sure to tell your spouse your intended route. |
My friend posted them all in his blog...cant find the archive unfortunately

Most important thing is that you have a good pair of hiking boots. Head over to REI and get some, You'll thank me later.

The begining of the little wenatchee river. (whats left of it during summer) During winter, the entire basin is solid snow and ice and melts to this size
http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...8X7ilGZwBRvDPe We couldnt find the trailhead to head up the peak so we climbed straight up the face. Took two laborous hours. Once we got to the top we could see the trails...lol http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...D38FwN2LM4qJOw http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...YyiWsO7Z9RmpHT As I headed up the side a bird flew out of the hillside when I got near. I looked in and saw a birds nest filled with babies. Cool pics http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...Q9Gbuj6sG7WVs9 http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...ADPakI0uk4baG1 We found the path http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1ps6...u3gEItGh5vb5LU |

Thanks for the great pics mate |
I did a good bit of hiking in Banff and Jaspar, Alberta Canada. The scenery is out of this world, the mountains are so beautiful they don't look real, they look like a giant painting.
