If the 9-11 attacks had taken place at like 3:00 AM
It wouldn't have had the same effect on the American public.

I know this might sound strange...
But think about it....

If so many of us weren't watching the news when this whole thing went down it wouldn't have been nearly the same.

I mean without the LIVE media footage the impact would have been much different.....

You know if the terrorists wanted to ensue fear into the American public they should have flew jets into mcdonalds and a burger king, have a couple of suicide bombers pop inside a Wendy?s and a Subway Sub restaurant and maybe a Taco Bell? heh, would have shutdown America faster than you can say ZEEKY BOOGY DOOG.

What about all those people who stay up watching infomercials? You know they'd be telling all their friends and their friends would be like "yeah right" just like to all their crazy ideas.

What I can't understand is how these guys can fly a jet into the side of 3 buildings, but they can't seem to get guys to randomly show up at a Wal-mart with an automatic rifle to kill people. True terror is when you're afraid to leave your house because some fucked up shit *might* happen to you when you're going about your daily business.

Great point. Fox News once reported there were "thousands" of Al Queda agents in the US (no joke...). I always wondered why they didn't actually do anything. We've had more home-grown terror than anything else.

Its puzzled me to be totally honest. I'm not saying terrorists didn't slam jets into buildings, but I can't figure how some dude and a teenager could go around sniping people from some old shitbox van and the 'real' terrorists aren't doing anything.

Slamming a jet into a building isn't going to make me think twice about going about my daily activities. Some nutjob with an AK47 randomly showing up at grocery stores or retail outlets would definately be something on my mind if it was happening and very likely make me think twice about where I went and when.

Think of how financially crippling it could be if people were to to avoid/limit their normal activities of spending money.

Then i realised we western people are spoiled.. we want it all and we want it now. Thats why we are weak.. we dont have PATIENCE..

If we were in control of 'jihad' we would fly the planes into the WTC
and have suicide bombers ready in action the week after.

Bu this is NOT how terror works..real terror is doing something relatively small and have people FEAR you way out of proportion without you actually doing something afterwards.. and thats what we have got here: they masterminded and performed a geniuus attack YEARS ago

you know sometimes I compare the media in the U.S. with the ex-Soviet government, even more powerful. During the Soviet Union at least you knew who propagades the propaganda and a lot of people already knew that most of the stuff that comes out from the Soviet government is BS. But, in U.S. the media does the most brainwashing and people think since it is the media and it is "neutral", it is all true. Most people in U.S. are sheep I tell you

sure the attacks were well planned but it didn't take 6 years to ply , maybe from day one of recruitment training in various terrorist activities but where at the actual event of flying the planes in was only a fraction of those 6 years

there could be any number of sleeper agents just waiting for that call up
