Search engine idea
Everyone knows backlinks are important. Now, recip links don't do as well as "free" incoming links, since the search engines also realize that linktrades are just that - linktrades.
I know people are also exchanging links asynchronously, linking to somebody else's site with site A, who links back to site B, and stuff like that. Still, as long as you do this with only a few people, it keeps the entire network of links pretty close together. What about setting up an linktrade program where people sign up their sites and link to a number of randomly selected (but relevant) sites in the database, while a number of completely different sites, with different owners, link "back"? It would require some trust on the part of all participants (as well as software that automatically checks everyone keeps their end of the bargain), but I think it could work out pretty well. Any ideas? |
I have thought of that before and wondered why nobody has done it yet. Usually I see my ideas on the market about 30 minutes after I think of them

It's been done in the mainstream, but abused and didn't succeed.

good luck with that, seems like a good idea :2 cents:

It's a good idea. Basically, you could just give the webmaster a script or something to embed, that generates the link text and dynamically links via your site.
Preventing abuse would be a bit of an ass, but just make sure you verify all the sites on a regular basis. |
Preventing abuse is the killer there

If you pay me fuck all and let my sites participate in the scheme then i'd be willing to help you sift through all the sites to check them on a daily basis.
