GFY Celebrity Boxing
 

A lot of guys sure talk tough in here, threatening the lives (or at least ass kickings) of other members practically every day.

I think it's time for the big talkers to put up or shut up. I think we should have GFY Celebrity Boxing at the next internext. I'm sure we could get sponsors to throw in some nice prizes for the contestants (even the losers should walk away with something), and maybe even charge a small admission at the door to recoup the fee for wherever this is held. Maybe the participants would want to place some large side bets themselves, and the loser's money could go to the charity of the winner's choice.

While this may seem like a joke, I'm not really kidding. I have no desire to organize this (nor to be a participant - I'm a lover, not a fighter), but I think it's a good idea, and a doable one at that. This would be good, clean boxing (no one would get seriously hurt), would raise some money for charity, and might get a lot of these guys to settle their differences once and for all.

So, what do you think? Cool idea? Who do you think would be the best matchups? I'll go ahead and nominate AMP and pimpdogg for the main event :)

Steve is a great guy...lol....I seem to remember him telling me that he used to get in the ring as an Amateur a few yrs ago and did really well.

Tough is not JUST how well you can lay down a beating, but how good a beating you can take too. :)
