Is 1 sale per 10,000 uniques visitors from feeder / trade traffic an average conversion rate for a good MGP?

Thats about right try driffent sponsors and see what happens.

Yeah, thats actually above average for a TGP/MGP I do believe.

Well it depends on the quality of the traffic & where it comes from. If it was skim from other TGPs & your trades, that isnt bad. I hear TGP/MGP is the worst at converting. I've heard of people doing 1:20,000 on a gallery post. I believe I read on a webmaster resource that most TGPs/MGPs don't convert under 1:20k visitors.

Also, it depends if thats 10k to the sponsor or 10k to your site & 1 sale. If it's 10k to your site, it's not so bad in my opinion. But if its 10k you send to the sponsor & only 1 sale, then it's not very good. Actually, quite terrible.

For FHG-powered MGP's, 1:50K sent to galleries or worse is quite normal, depending on the skim. 1:10K to the site, well, I can say :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

You make a sale for every 100 visitors to your MGP? You must be referring to your ratio of sponsor clicks / sales. And even at that, you're still doing better than probably 90% of other adult webmasters.

Ok, now for a start it is uniques to the MGP from feeder and trade traffic period that I was refering to. Not clicks, not hits on sponsor galleries.

For example ip: 123:456:789:123 visits the MGP http://www.google.com - That is counted as one unique.

In addition where did I say I was doing 1:10k? Well I didn't say it.

I said was 1:10k a good conversion rate.

From what I gather a 1:20k to 1:50k conversion rate is the norm for a good MGP.

Does anyone have any other figures from their own experiences?

You don't need to name the TGP / MGP just say the average conversion rate that you have experienced?

I can't believe people think that 1 in 10,000 is a good ratio for ANYTHING.

A good average ratio is 1:1,000

Thats the average I see with two of my build your own tours in one program and I am sure all the traffic people are sending to them is from tgp's and the like.

and yes that's a good one.

Considering that you can *buy* feeder traffic for about $2-$3/K, a 1:10K conversion ratio isn't bad (paying $20-$30 per sale).

Depends on production. I find 3000 clicks from 2k a day, even on a small site can convert :)

i run a few tgp's and if my ratio gets worse then 1:2000 then its time to change sponsors..
