Chick drops one of the most expensive bikes ever ***VID***

The Honda NR750, wich was going for $50,000 back in the day, now they're priceless rarities. Dumb chick, but the guy that let her try it must be dumber.

Love Sex 07-29-2006 04:47 PM

nobody cared about the driver

fastfun 07-29-2006 04:51 PM

its the NR750, its designed to crash, there will only be Carbonfiber and struts damage. Will proberly cost about $800-1200, but thats nothing on a bike like that

woj 07-29-2006 05:32 PM

why does "dropping" a bike mess it up so badly anyway?

Doctor Dre 07-29-2006 05:43 PM

Looks like there are almost no damages

Put 500 pounds of pressure from asphalt hitting your car at 10 miles per hour and tell me how much damage it will do...

Scratches the Clip-on handlebars (if no struts), repair broken faring(expensive), broken turn-lights, since they are almost always the part of the bike that hit the ground first. And if you are lucky and its a open frame bike you can get a dent in the frame, making it weak in that one single spot. It makes the frame worthless, and the bike have to be take completely apart to replace it

Funny how rarity makes something more valuable than durability.

yea, I figured the obvious, scratches, broken lights, etc... but those can all be fixed reasonably cheaply... just wasn't sure why when people sell a used bike "never dropped" is always a big selling point... thanks for clearing things up, didn't know the "frame" can get damaged that easily...

Sure, but that's NOT the case with the NR. :error

I am not sure what the big deal is with those bike any way.

I have a VF1000R and other than being a bit heavier the performance specs are really close. Mine has NO2 on it so I bet it will smoke that NR750.

Oh and the NR750 did not not even finish at Lemans and the VF1000R won TWICE!
