In the long run, Israel will be far better at stamping out radical Islam than the US, because they just take the same attitude as the Arabs, except they're like 2000 years more advanced in technology.

I agree, but I also think that some atrophy is due within the region. Iran is pushing too hard for too much and I think you will see some other mideast countries "silently" backing US short term goals. Patience is somewhat virtuous in such respect.

Al Quada was wise in trying to unite the front, however, I doubt Hezbollah cares to assist.
