Mike Nifong says he shouldn't have been as open in his discussion of certain aspects of the case of a woman who says she was raped at a party. Election years are a bitch.

"My handling of the media coverage of this case has occasioned substantial criticism, some of which is undoubtedly justified," District Attorney Mike Nifong said during a half-hour news conference.

"I both underestimated the level of media attention this case would draw and misjudged the effect that my words would have. That having been said, this case remains a Durham problem and it demands a Durham solution," he said.

Well I live close to Durham and I'm not obsessed with it, it's just something I'm watching as I don't believe the girl was raped.
I'm a Tar Heal fan, very far from being a Duke fan.

Ye it's Heel thanks for pointing that out.:winkwink: I don't have a clue if she has cried wolf before or not, they talk about ti just about every night on the News and I just flat out feel she didn't get raped that night at that party. The sperm found was from another guy and she admitted to having sex with 3 guy's before going to the party, she also used a vibrator at the party. Her phone records also place her on the phone for 10 mins as the "rape" was taking place. I don't know what to tell ya but I just don't get the ring of truth from the girls story as Judge Judy would say.
