Content producers from contact to contract - most important to get 'er done
 

What do you do to seal the deal? When a model contacts you by ad or word of mouth or whatever do you e-mail her back or call her back? Do you then set up a test shoot for sure or do you pass her by your clients? Do you front the cash or do you make sure you have a buyer? Do you go to her or have her come to you?

I'm still thinking of ways to prevent the waffle. I've lost a few contract where buyers wanted the content for sure but the model after a few days flaked out. What I normally do is write back via e-mail a few times, get as many pics as they can offer, if not enough try to set up a test shoot. I take those images she has and submit to my clients or on here looking for an order then I try to get her to come to me. So far it's been moderately successful. I guess if I was mobile I would get more girls to shoot? But a lot of the time they dont have a place to shoot anyway. I have to get the girls to drive an hour sometimes, should I just go to them? Also I can only shoot weekends and evenings, I guess that hurts me too? I guess I need to learn a system that works most of the time instead of not working most of the time and I haven't found it yet.

What for you increases your success to get 'er done? Is the time of contact to shoot and cash the most important part? Do you need to be in your car the same day as contact, cash in hand? What if I'm not sure if I can sell the material and I lose my money on that risk?
