Trying to think of ways this would work. The scripter Im in contact with is damn good at this. He made that good clone of youtube wandering around the web except he's shown me a whole lot more that he can do. Improved it a whole lot and said he can do pretty much whatever I want. He showed me a few things he's done making it like the itunes store.

Could make a rule I guess that copyrighted adult material have a maximum of so many seconds or whatever.

Saw a thread on slashdot a week or so back about a competitor to Youtube.... they started a model based on advertising rev-share by how popular your video was: advertising impressions on the page your video played * your video watched = more money. Sounded like a decent plan.

Unfortunately, I cant' remember the name of the site pulling that scheme.

it cant be done.. what brings youtube the visitors is the vast array of movies with no agenda, just like myspace as soon as people realise its profit potential ( and they are ) , they start uploading "profit" videos , diluting the quality of the service.

"surfers" arent going to sit around uploading porn videos for you , and if you let the webmasters do it they arent going to upload whats best they will upload whats proftable.. making it basically a tgp..

what do most ppl wanna see? Free porn.. other then that there's really no more criteria
