    Anyone ever see Gilbert Gottfried live?

    He was pretty funny. But, not piss my pants funny. Even while, drinking a few hard drinks.

          My wife and I saw him about 15 years ago and were brutally disappointed. He was absolutely the worst comedian I've ever seen.

          He was hilarious in an episode of The Cosby Show we'd just seen and when we saw an advertisement that he was coming to a local comedy club, we decided to go.

          For the first FIVE MINUTES, while the crowd applauded, he stood there, didn't move and just spewed out the words, "Thank you very much" with a ridiculous overemphasis and roll of the tongue on the "TH". So much so that he was spitting while he was doing it.

          That was supposed to be funny I assume, but it was SO annoying, I can almost still feel the headache it gave me to this very day. The rest of the act didn't get any better.
