I use them to pay my designer in the Phillipines. So far no problems, it is a nice way to get Paypal payments to them. It has better rates than ePassporte too.

I closed my epassporte account awhile back, and this seems like a good alternative, from what I have seen.

I remember xoom.com. They used to offer free hosting like geocities.

I recall the same...and recently used their payment system for someone overseas...worked fine.

They provide a professional service. I have used them on many occasions to send cash abroad. Never had any problems.

agreed, only time you'll run into problems is if they person you are paying doesn't send you an invoice so you can easily send them the money. Otherwise you have to put their info in exactly correct or it'll bounce.

Great service though. easy to use but the fees are a little high.

I asked this on another thread; where is a good place to look for designers in PI without going through an outsource company? Newspapers, internet job boards, any starting point is fine.

Paid a coder in India with them, had no problems.

dunno what happenned to the freehost but I pay my guy in the philipines every month on there - once you get your card auth'd for first time they go thru no probs

I live in the Philippines, but xoom doesn't work for me..It always gets cancelled if my clients are Paypal or credit card users. If worked fine few years ago but now it's having problems. Here's the link

Plus their customer support sucks and kinda rude.
