Who puts their freakin car keys in the visor???
 

almost every movie i've seen that has a scene with someone breaking into another car, checks the visor, keys fall out, and they're good to go... wtf??

anyone here leave keys in the visor? someone please explain... :helpme

Maybe in Canada where people don't steal things. It's funny because you'd actually be surprised how long a car will last with the keys inside of it in New York. I saw a new Honda Civic with the key stuck in the lock sitting on broadway. Everyone looked at it but everyone was probably so afraid it was a bait car to do something. The owner eventually came back and took his keys.

There's a show on Court TV, i think it's called "Caught." They leave expensive items on city streets and put hidden cameras to see who steals them. Most of the time people will stare but not steal. I guess it shows that people are more honest than you think, or maybe afraid of getting caught.

That's something i've always wondered about aswell.

Nobody in their right mind would even think about doing that here...

We used to do this all the time. You dont lose keys this way.

yup ppl do that, long ago a friends dad put his in the gas opening. He had a MB S series. I emphasize HAD.

in some countries or places people take out their radio from the car so that noone breaks the windows and steals it.....
