Any time in the last 20-25 years they could have reached a settlement and moved on, but instead they keep fighting, attcking, and bombing, and giving Isreal the reasons the need to keep taking territory and securing their space.

As for the image about Palestine.. In 1945 it was British owned, not Palestinian. It was the British Mandate of Palestine, and also known as Eretz-Israel. It was also a lot larger than it shows, just years earlier. Jordan and Iraq as we know it were created.

Your analogy uses two established countries with established populations. There never was a Palestine and there was no Palestinian people until 1967 long after Israel was created.

Actually they became Palestinian people in 1920 when the arab peasants started their revolution. There have been way more so called Palestinian people killed by eqypt and jordan then the Jews.

Also, don't forget the Jews were living on that land over 5000 years ago (4000 years before any muslims) so they aren't new to the land there. The arab peasants also sold a huge chunk of that land to the jews just like the Indians sold New York to the white man !
