Is 4472 enforceable AT THIS MOMENT?
 

Just reading through the law at http://www.freespeechonline.org/webdocs/h4472t5a.pdf

From Section 503 Record Keeping Requirements for Simulated Sexual Conduct: "The provisions of this section shall not become effective until 90 days after the final regulations implementing this section are published in the Federal Register..."


However most webmasters will probably not be dealing with 'simulated', it will instead be Section 502 Other Record Keeping Requirements, which does not contain the language above defining an effective date.

So is Section 502 applicable at this very moment or do we have a period of time to become compliant?

yeah seriously... I switched all my sites over to a format that would be safe even if the FSC wasn't successful with the injunction. Now it's a different situation again.

None of this is about protecting the children. It's all about trying to get rid of porn completely. After that they can fuck everyone and get rid of porn so that in the end the net will only have loads of violence, predators etc.. but that's ok.. As long as it's not sex. How fucking sad is that? They're so worried about sex, but they don't mind if kids see violence on tv, movies or wherever else. Sorry to say, but these law are fucking pathetic and the US government is becoming just as pathetic. Religion really does make people fucking stupid.
