Does your mouse cursor ever have a mind of it's own?

Sometimes when I'm about to move the mouse cursor, it suddenly appears in a completely different part of my screen. It's kinda creepy, almost as if someone else moved it real quick or something...

CherryLipsRosa 07-27-2006 03:20 PM

it happened to me several times..

Scott McD 07-27-2006 03:21 PM

if you use a wheel mouse. change it.. it means the wheel is fucked..

Clean your surfaces and make sure there's no hair or dust in the optical thingamajig.

mine travels....across the screen....

notabook 07-27-2006 03:51 PM

Usually when that happens it means someone has hacked your computer and is moving your mouse for you, trying to get you to surf midget tranny sites. At least that's what I tell myself at night.

djroof 07-27-2006 03:54 PM

I have this sometimes!

Stamen 07-27-2006 03:58 PM

It also happens when using a wireless mouse, sometimes you'll pick up interference that moves the mouse, it happens more often if you have more than 1 wireless mouse setup in your house/office/area

majorbitch 07-27-2006 04:24 PM

Try cleaning the bottom of your mouse and reinstall the driver.

It has happened to me more than once, so.. yeah.

mikeyddddd 07-27-2006 04:48 PM

Mine sometimes saves the GFY background as my desktop background. It's very irritating because my background is usually some big tits.
