DRAMA - Fucking Epassporte suspended my account because I had over $5,000 on it
 

First time ever I hear this bullshit. I never knew I couldn't have over $5,000 on my Epass account.

Now I have to wait for it to be reopen. And I'm leaving for a 10 day vacation to Cancun tomorrow morning and I was expecting to use that money!! And now I have to fucking wait and probably won't be able to use it!!

I'll never leave large amounts of money on my Epassporte account again!

usally you just have to fax them some info. Sucks about the timing though. I hope that you can get it sorted out.

Its in the TOS that if your balance goes over $5000 you are required to verify your account.

This is getting to be an almost daily problem it seems. I always withdraw the max each time I get a load but since the daily withdrawl limits are set know I will face this problem too soon. Back to waiting for checks or setting up wires I guess. :(

I heard it on GFY like 20 times already that you get suspended when you hit $5k, so personally I rarely have more than $1500 in epassporte

can i request verification before my account balance hits $5k? I don't want it suspended in the least expected moment.

I use Funds2Go to receive my money and never had a problem. It's a little bit more expensive than epassporte butI think in the end it's worth it. At times I have more than 5k in my account and never a problem.

Its a requirement from the backend bank so EVERYONE has to verify their account when they go over $5,000

Verification is painless. They gave me a warning and several days to get my info together.

Its not an issue you should be all set in no time.

I've been told that on the phone, funny thing is that I don't see one single e-mail inside my account about this. You can check it for yourself. Something is probably wrong there.

Also, I don't like to have some personal account info posted on the boards. We were talking on ICQ and you never mentioned that to me, not once.

I just drove 30 minutes back home on rush hour to get my documents and another 30 minutes back to the office. And it seems that I'll have to wait until tomorrow for you to even look at my documents. I hope I catch you before my plane leaves tomorrow.

They send you emails warning you that you are nearing the 5K mark. You need to read your emails dude. Not to mention that it is in the TOS. I had my account frozen and re-opened all in the same days a year or so ago. More flies with honey!

If your have a load card attached to your account
We require a copy of goverment ID, copy of front and back of credit card and the last statement of that card or a utility bill with your address on it.

If you do not have a credit card on your account.
A copy of goverment ID and a utility bill with your address on it.

you do realize banks and other financial institutions tell you not to give this kind of info to anyone...

Epass cards are backed by a reputable bank, thus all the paper work. Not to mention the Visa regulations.

If another company offers you the same service without any paperwork, be prepared to kiss your money goodbye one of these days.

I pay all my employees with epass and haven't had a problem. Had to verify a dozen or so and all of them were done the same day.

Timing sucks, might want to turn off those spam filters or check your email.

Name me a bank which doesn't require any of the above paperwork.
