Lost all my content spots. When I search for keywords, it doesn't find the pages about the keywords anymore, but just the mainpage where i mention the keyword once with the link to the actual page about the keyword.

site: is showing all my content pages at the very end

Yep, few sites of mine that were hit by June 27th update are back in top10 now. I am pretty happy...and yes, it's not an update actually, but another data refresh ;)

What exactly is a data refresh?

If by hit you mean suddenly getting ass loads of image traffic for hundrens of different terms all linked to one, yes just one picture on a blog...then yeah.

Wed night Google had a huge outage that shut down Adsense and a bunch of their index for hours and evidently Thurs morning they seemed to do a rollback of their database for two days back based on refresh dates in the cache.
Things seem to be going back to normal now although the rollback caused filters to be removed as well - but those also seem to be being applied slowly back to normal today
