My car destroyed by hail storm
 

So we had this big ass hail storm today, hail as big as 3 inches in diameter, something never seen here. My car was outside round the corner. After 10 minutes of storm, I went to see what happened. It looks horrible, seems like moon craters, front and back glasses destroyed, as well as 2 side windows and a door that won't open. Fuck. Strangely, I'm more shocked than angry, even tho this shit will cost me a lot of money, I feel kinda like "hey, at least I saw this happening"

I wasn't in the mood to take pics, just took it to the repair workshop as soon as it happened. Glad I did that, reports are all repair shops collapsed and prices are up to 50% :Oh crap

btw, I'm seeing in the news there were a lot of people badly hurt and 3 in critical condition :(

crazy thing is that all that ice was held up in the sky by updrafts collecting moisture before it became too heavy and fell to the ground.

is not that common around here. That car is a Renault 12 and was discontinued like 25 years ago. Mine is a Renault Clio. Like the one below

no insurance for hail. Most coverages around here exclude explicitly hail, floods and such. Having an insurance covering that would cost you a car a year more or less. Like this happens everyday :mad:
