- your gay design. its not flashy, its not cool, its gay. look, it just confuses me and gets in my way. my dream: a blank page that says CLICK HERE FOR FHGs - CLICK HERE FOR LINKS - CLICK HERE FOR CONTENT. I don't have time to fuck around with your shit - i'll just get pissed and you'll lose my business/traffic.

- Waiting to be approved. Listen up dumbfucks... I signed up so I could send you traffic NOW - your page did not say "we are gonna keep you waiting for 48 hours", no, you just told me that after i had filled out the form. what the fuck is the approval for anyway? so some smartass dumbfuck who is never going to buy porn anyway, cant wank over your content? come on. Well, its your loss - by the time you have approved me, my traffic is already converting with your competitors :)

- Not being able to export free hosted galleries the way i want them. again, your problem... i'll just send the traffic to somebody else's galleries.

- ccbill sponsers who want you to login to their shitty site for free hosted gals / content .. but never send you a damn login... again, i just send my traffic to your competitor.

- support. 99% of programs have basicly ZERO support and are unwilling to help you. if i have to come to GFY just to find out how to link to your join page (hello imlive!) you fucking suck and next time i may promote somebody else's site.

im only telling you this becuase i need to vent my fustration. you dont even deserve to learn these things and improve. I hope you all fail and go bankrupt just for wasting my time.

fatman, don't wait from sponsors to change the way they work because of your complaiments. If something is bad for you , like design for example, it could be good for others.

can't blame the sponsors who make me wait no matter how annoying that is cause sponsors have to be careful about who they let promote them as the promoter could doom their biz by spamming/cheating and other shit so i got no prob with the ones who take a little time to verify my traffic sources :2 cents:

I agree. And it makes me wonder about those sponsors who just let anyone send them traffic. For example, it took me about 10 hours to get accepted to Adult Platform recently, but for good reason. Their sites are top of the line and any surfer would absolutely LOVE getting their hands on the content they let you use. :2 cents:

I agree with a lot of what you said. I could go on and on for days about how fucking retarded some of these affiliate admin areas are.

For example, here's a hosted gallery exporting system I really hate. I'd love to choke the pencil neck cocksucker that thought this was a good idea!!

Yea its a pain but pretty standard for almost all sponsors. However I think we over at moocash are pretty much on with the rest however I would love your suggestions.

Or when you fill out the join form and hit the submit button it leads you to a page that says error ;) I hate when that happens. And yeah it's a big piss off to be filling out the join form and you hit submit just to be lead to a page that tells you you have to wait 48 hours.

99% of the sponsors out there have very crappy content ~I won't mention any names~ but you know who you are. Or the content isn't easy to find and there are not thumbnails just zip files, so you don't know what you're downloading. Some don't even have content...! Or all the content is caps from movies...wtf guys. You have toon sites but no toon content to use...:thumbsup guys. You want people to promote your stuff then have something good to promote. Take the time to listen to people and get your stuff together before you get it up and running.

Most sponsors seem to worry about the look of the site and not the quality of their program :2 cents:

I gotta agree with this post. another thing I hate crappy shitty stats or no referal logs. I want to know where my signups come from. so what if I want to be a stats whore and check my stats 20 times day. at least I'll know if theres a problem pretty quick if sales slow.

What i hate about sponsors...

Every time i watch one of those paysites on my own links, they take the webmaster referral traffic. Only 20% leaves my webmaster referral link in tact, this 20% number is closer to 10 then to 20 to be honest

my pet peeve is sponsors that dont have a "Forgot Password" link for their programs when i just want to login and quickly get a linkcode to add to a blog entry or a category page. :helpme

Hey. Sorry to hear that you have had these issues. One of the things that I do for my affiliates if make sure they get anything they need. All they have to do is ask. If we dont already have it, I get it made for them, or if I have to, I will make it myself.

I once made a list of 3k galleries for an affiliate in the order of the output he wanted. Had to make it by hand because the system at the time would not. He was happy as hell and made a truck load of sales.

Our affiliate area is the gayest of all. We're really proud of it's gayness. The gayness is exactly what we were going for so thank you for acknowledging the level of gayness we were able to obtain. We try to load it with every bell and whistle we can think of. If you see our site and you know of a missing bell, whistle, wingding, sound effect, pointing-hand thingy, hypnotizing circle banner or any other annoying flashing thing, let us know so we can add it right away. As a CCBill sponsor, we had to go to great lengths to extend the approval process for new affiliates. We actually just sit at our computer's all day waiting for the incoming affiliate request emails. Then, when they come in, we all gather around the computer and hover our fingers over the "approve" button but then we usually get hungry so we go out to lunch and have a few beers and just laugh and make jokes about the new affiliate that's at home sitting at his computer waiting for his approval email. It's quite fun.


Regarding support, yeah, we just don't offer that. I sorta chuckled a bit when I read that. That was funny. Most of the time we're on ICQ but it's fun to pretend we're not at our desks and see how many messages the affiliate will send over a 24 hour period while we just sit back and laugh. Sometimes we have contests to see who can get the affiliate to send the most ICQ messages without responding to one of them. Then those guys go into the finals where the winner is the affiliate manager who can get his affiliates to use the most curse words in their IM's. We usually go with 3 x 5 minute rounds and the winner gets to go home early.
