    Cell phone companies should do this:

    I would like to have 2 cell phones with the same number. I like the functionality of mobile pc phones, but I do not need it with me when I go out for pleasure. It is too big and cumbersone to carry with me when Im just going out for fun. I want to be able to set the phone I want to be active on and turn the other one off when Im not using it without losing emails etc.

    Anyone know of a cell company who can do this this??

      That would be cool. I have a small flip right now but wouldn't mind a Treo 700 if it wasn't for the size

          Just have someone hack out the second phone... its called cloneing, people do this all the time

              the only way Ive figured to do it is get 2 numbers and set the first phone to forward to the second when not in use. But, I dont want 2 bills.

                  Just got the Sidekick 3 and it without question kicks ass. Also have a linksys wifi wip 330. It also kicks ass. But wifi phone is strictly voip. Someday soon a hybrid voip and celluar phone. Then cellular will be gone soon. Very soon it will all be voip.

                      Expand your circle of friends to include one or two of questionable means of support, they can get you a "clone" while you wait.
