it's decent but not what I would expect from a company that specialises in retouching.
This can do almost anybody who edits photos on a daily basis.
No offense meant....just my :2 cents:

I retouch photos and i can do alot better than that company. maybe i should start my own if i have that to compete with

Holy fuck... the photographer really sucked with shadows. This is insane.

A little light makes all the difference.

Well we actually have photos that we've retouch that have been published in Maxim, FHM, as well as Playboy. These were the only ones that we had clearance to post from the photographer. Send us a couple of samples and we can show you what we can offer.

they prolly have some software that they just open the photo and set some settings and then BAM theyve done it..

Every photo is hand retouched and we don't run batch files for any of them. Send us some photos and we'll show you what we can do with them. Like I mentioned before, these were the only ones we actually have clearance to post.

Interesting. I figured most of the photographers that are hired by Maxim, FHM and Playboy, would have shot the photos with good lighting and white balance to start with, and either touch up their own photos or have one of the magazine graphic designers on staff do it.

We work with a photographer based in LA that shoot regularly for Maxim and apparently Maxim just licenses the photos from him. He's not a staff photographer so he shoots side features and not the main celebrity features. A few of the photos we've retouched for him on are the current issue right now.

Most photographers that we work with have great lighting and handle shadows very well, but this photographer likes this look and apparently it works very well for his website.

We can offer such a discounted rate because we have regular clients and regular mainstream work, and this is just a side project that we wanted to get going.

Well said ServerGenius, but since the photographers we work with don't want us to publish things that we've retouched for them.. it puts us in a tight spot.

So, the offer still stands, anyone can email us some photos and we'll retouch for free in exchange for us to use it in our portfolio :)

why did you use trannies for your samples?

you could have just bought a cheap content set for promotional use or even
use freecontent from a sponsor with their url on it and linked to their site :2 cents:

Can content be purchased to retouch? We were told that the photos have to stay as is. We'd love to go ahead and purchase a few sets to retouch for portfolio use if that's possible.

I've got sets you can purchase and retouch for your portfolio. Also I could be interested in 1000-1200 pics per week if you can do 50 cents per pic. No bullshit I have the quantity and the longevity to keep you going, but I'm gonna have to see better then what you have posted. Let me know.
