At this point, don't mistake the government with the people.

There's numerous idiotic expectations by U.S. policy makers on foreign policy that makes most of the world shake their heads. I have a feeling most of the policy makers never travel outside of the US.

The U.S. stopped benchmarking it's self against other countries long ago and adopted an eliteist attitude. I really hope that changes before it's too late. :2 cents:

The US didn't expect the Iraqi Prime Minister to condemn Hezbollah. It was only Democratic Jews and other liberals who made this stand and boycotted the Iraqi Prime Minister today. Please don't put all of US into this camp !

She's off now to the Asean summit in Malaysia after her alleged attempts to broker peace in the Middle East. I'm sure she will make a massive impact there at solving the world's problems.
