Why is the United States so naive sometimes?

Seriously, I can't believe that they expected the Iraqi Prime Minister to condemn Hezbollah.

Get real.

Writing is on the wall with this one.

spazlabz 07-26-2006 02:16 PM

I thought it was funny how pissed they were that the leader of the new a freedom loving Iraq could actually disagree with them :))

At this point, don't mistake the government with the people.

There's numerous idiotic expectations by U.S. policy makers on foreign policy that makes most of the world shake their heads. I have a feeling most of the policy makers never travel outside of the US.

The U.S. stopped benchmarking it's self against other countries long ago and adopted an eliteist attitude. I really hope that changes before it's too late. :2 cents:

propaganda for indoctrination of its citizens :helpme

pornguy 07-26-2006 03:14 PM

What cracks me up, is that they keep sending a WOMAN to do the job. These men sit there and laguh at her. To them she is NOTHING, and should be standing behind them with her mouth shut, and a sheet on her head. :)

tony286 07-26-2006 03:16 PM

For some reason they cant understand they dont think like us, they are a very different people. That will never change, thats why we have to find alt fuels get off oil and they can all go fuck themselves.

Paul Waters 07-26-2006 04:36 PM

Israel was totally unprepared for what awaited them in Lebanon.

This morning's losses emphasize that.

Poor Condo is floundering.

I find the Asian Times http://www.atimes.com a great source for inciteful analysis.

Not quite.

Germany's representative is a women, and Germany has the greatest respect among the Arab and Muslim world.

Not thanks to the woman representative though. Believing THAT is naïve.

The US didn't expect the Iraqi Prime Minister to condemn Hezbollah. It was only Democratic Jews and other liberals who made this stand and boycotted the Iraqi Prime Minister today. Please don't put all of US into this camp !

CreamXtreme 07-26-2006 08:39 PM

Damn water can't be all that expensive

If they need water all that bad, why don't we send them
a couple hundred tons of bottled water -that'll cool 'em
off a bit.

God damned dessert rats anyhow - gotta chill for awhile.

Mmmm.. na, not a lot Big_Red... no biggie.

Sent the whore out to show a presence, - she talked some shit and tried to be relevant, but nobody gives a damn, - they are working on some progress without her.

She's off now to the Asean summit in Malaysia after her alleged attempts to broker peace in the Middle East. I'm sure she will make a massive impact there at solving the world's problems.

Next...
