Epassporte, legit?

I've been forced to get an epassporte account for some payments i can't accept throught paypal or post. but all i've read on this and other forums is how they fuck people over/close their accounts cos of 3rd parties then keep the money left in the account etc.

but i reluctantly signed up only to find i could'nt confirm my account cos they don't seem to be able to accept UK postcodes in place of US zip codes (most international sites have no problems doing this). and thinking about it i've never heard of any UK business or individual using them before.

so are they legit?

I think you've gotten the wrong impression. Epassporte is a very convenient way to handle your money.

I guess people have forgotten what it was like to deal with Paypal.

ive had better luck with PayPal

Well, just don't keep any money in the account. They do like to suspend accounts without telling you and out of the blue. Their support is, well, got to post here on GFY to get anything done.

you will never hear the positives of epassporte
just like any company

people only voice negative things

They have a shitty support... but the compagny is 100 % legit.

You don't have much to worry about. Since they added 2 icq reps, support got a lot better.

ePassporte is not a bank, - it never was - so don't expect the same level of performance as with conventional plastic.

Can you please email me your postcode or post it here and I will make sure its looked into first thing in the morning.

I've been with ePassporte for about 9 months now and even accounts closed for fraud haven't had their funds seized if there were money left over after their fraudulent were covered.

I have used Epassporte for well over a year now and it's a great service as far as I'm concerned.

I've had only one problem, where a bankmachine didn't give me my money (hardly epass's fault) and Keyzer has it all taken care of in a week or so. Faster actually than my bank.
