Yahoo is supposed to be changing their mainpage today
 

I wonder what its gonna be like? Lotsa changes happening with search engines these days.

The page is a bit dated... They havnt canged it other than some of the layout since what 96-97? It would be nice to see something a bit less sterile.

their current design is easy to use

Good or bad move? Most of their surfers are bookmarked correct?...so what if they make it so friggin hard to navigate and lose? DON'T FUCK UP YAHOO!

It has been so successful for years, why change now.

advertising dollars is on a big decline
the want to make it more attractive to the sponsors, not the surfer.

They want to make the adverts seem more attractive to the visitor, which in turn, makes yahoo more attractive to anyone looking for some exposure :winkwink:

not only is that very time consuming, but i don't think they could afford the bandwidth. you might crash the server. ;)
