My wife edits with Final Cut Pro HD and Flip4Mac has a nice converter. She had to google for the best converters, popwire technology has good converters also...not sure if that is what you are looking for

I just want to make a couple of animated GIFs from clips that I have on my Mac. I'll look into that, thanks Mack.

try it, my wife uses the mac to convert wmv stuff to quicktime and avi to wmv and other formats, so those might work. She is sleeping so cant ask her but remember these two converters. Let me know, hell shoot me an email at [email protected] and will ask her and let you know
