My electric bill is climbing from the number of fans I have to have going. I really wish we had a/c here.

Don't know does we think on same thingh... but air condition or clima how we call it here,it makes air dry and if u leave it trough the night it gets u really cold in the morning:(

Yes, over here (at least in some parts of the US) we have "central" heating and air conditioning systems with climate control. That means if we set it to 75 degrees, the temperature in the house is always 75 degrees. :)

Well yeah then, it will be fine to leave it on all night. Once it hits the temperature that you have it set at, the A/C will just shut itself off. :thumbsup

I have no idea why you say AC is unhealthy. I'm nice and cool here in my air conditioned home. In fact, some nights I get cold. Damn, I sleep good. :)
