Hey guys I am back! Well not back at work but back to work I should say. I am trying to get to everyone's e-mails and ICQ's as fast as I can.

The surgery went good. It was a lot bigger than what I thought. They had to take a piece of my hip bone and put it in my foot, and it wasn't because I didn't listen to my doctor and I took pain pills that caused me to have to have this surgery as one person would like you to believe, it's because my bones would not fuse together. My doctor said some people just have tough bones that don't fuse and I happen to be one of them. I left the bolts in my foot 4 months longer than needed for my last surgery and they still didn't fuse. So this procedure should take the pain away finally. He was going to put in a fake bone but decided my own bone cells would be better to fill in the gap that is causing the pain. Here is a picture of my foot. I made it a link instead of a pic because it is kinda gross.

He didn't take a pic of my hip cut open but the pain is enough.

Anyway I am back and working as fast as I can like I said above. I just wanted to let everyone know I am back and doing okay. They had me on OxyContin over the weekend and those things SUCK I am so glad to be off of them. I am still feeling sick to my stomach from them but they did take the pain away for the first few days home from the hospital. I can?t wait until those things are out of my system. I always wanted to try them and see if they were are strong or good as everyone said and they are and more. I do not see how anyone could function and take those things. LOL

Well back to answering e-mails and ICQ?s. It?s good to be back even though I am still in pain and in bed with my foot up, at least I can work from my computer. :)

You know it is gonna be harder to kick ass around the office until your foot heals, so get better quick. Sorry about the pain. forget the pills and head to the liquor cabinet!

someone needs to put a set of eyes and a nose on that ankle. its screaming for it. sorry loryn, i know its painful and please get better soon, it just had to be said. :)

Here's to a speedy recovery. That pic reminds me of when I had a cist in my shoulder and they had to get the roots out..nice deep dark hole about 3" around heh. Still have the scar. Hope ya feel better soon. :)

well recovery ... i had hip bone implants on my cervical bones (neck) 3 years ago. surgery pics look nice . welcome back.

holy crap, that pic is so surreal it almost looks fake....insane!

as for oxys....if you split them in half and build up to using the recommeded dosage they are much better....what mg were they? the doc should not have given you more than 10-20mg for your first time on them, 20mg is even pretty crazy for a first time user

I am going to try to come in tomorrow and see how well my butt does sitting in a chair and how well my foot does. So we will meet at the bottom of the stairs tomorrow. LOL
