I dont know is it work correct i put this statscounter java code on the file simple_footer.tpl in phpbb template and didnt count yet any hit...

Maybe check out Masterstats.com The stats are pretty good, and they are free...

try google. there are a lot of them. Or you could just use the server stats.

I'd suggest AWStats, seems to work the best for me!
