canon 20d vs digital rebel 350
begin a drunk knob I lost my 20d+ lens so I am looking for a new camera
my friend has the new digital rebel and its pretty good and I think it uses the same sensor as the 20d so is there really much advantage in getting another 20d ? |

The 350 is too small, looks like a toy. I love the 20d.

But I agree, for doing professional shoots, it would feel a little odd. But with the battery grip, it begins to feel more like a pro level camera again. |
Spend the extra to get a fully featured camera, that feels like one. The 3??s feel plasticy and cheap. I've got a feeling the 20/30d shutters are more durable as well, if you're planning on shoot a lot.
Of course you could put the extra money towards some decent glass instead. ds |
lenses on SLRs are replaceable, just buy a new lens ;)

I had a 300d/rebel and then "upgraded" to the 350d/rebelXT. What a shock - exposure was crap and the screen is diabolical I hated it.
I sold it a few weeks later on Ebay and now have a 30d. Go the 30d - everythng is better and it sports a 2.5" screen as opposed to 1.8" on the 250d/rebelXT. my 2 cents |
I got a 20D, and love it. Looked at the Rebel, but it was just too small.

Don't be a kid when you can be the man. Get the 30D

or go full frame with great high iso capability with 5d. |
I have the 20d and love it. But it is a bit big for family events.
