Returned emails from me that I didn't write
 

I get returned emails that say they where from me. They all have attachments and are most likely viruses. How do these people do this? And why?

It is Klez again. Some people have absolutely no life and write viruses. When we find out who made Klez, I say we never let him go near a computer again -- and we castrate him.

He is using my domain address to mail people viruses. When they get returned for whatever reason I see these emails I supposely wrote. Does this mean my server has been hacked?
I don't even want to think about all the ones he wrote that didn't get returned

Same prob. here. I just keep deleting them, hoping that some day, it will stop. :mad:

Long story short.... Klez uses email addresses it finds in the infected people's address book AND their cache. So when they surf past your email address and then get infected... viola... now it looks like you are sending viruses when it's just someone that's been to your site.

What amazes me is how many people are stupid enough to actually get infected in the first place.

I got tried of getting'em.. Changed my email address on all my pages I could find, to a Yahoo one.
But I have not found all the pages still getting the dam things just not very many.

Yes, Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus will check even your outgoing mail for viruses. The shit e-mail I get with Klez (more than half of it lately!) tells me a lot of people don't have a good virus checker.

Klez is the pits, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better as each day goes by. In fact, it seems I get more and more all the time.
