If I raised PPS payouts to $40 a trial would u send more?

You are a very occasional sponsor for me (aiming for the $1000 bonus by year end) but yes I would push you more at that level especially if you dont dick about reducing console free payouts.

That really pisses me off when I see $x per signup only to find its less if I dont want consoles pissing everyone off.

Well you have to expect some kind of reduction since programs do make money off of the consoles right? You can't expect the same payout when your joins aren't worth as much.

complete mystery to me how any program can make a dollar paying $40 on a trial, even with a shave it would still be hard. unless there are revenue streams that i have undervalued - which could be.

Wish I could but then i would be losing money. Right now our retention is great so we can afford it

I will run the numbers again on console free and try to raise it. but we are doing well with the console version so we can afford to raise it to $40
and it looks like we are going to start it on Aug 1st for a month and see what happens.

Another way to get more affiliates is to optimize promo materials and tours and increase conversions this way.

I cant see how you would make any extra money without screwing over the consumer and increasing your cb's.

Why is that? If he makes $55 on every join he will just be taking a pay cut.

It motivates me to take a look yes, if it looks like shit I rather push a $20 PPS sponsor. Good sites, good support and good promo material is soo much more important than offering a higher payout imo

i would look first at the tours. offer two tour styles and you get some other webmasters that do not offer their traffic reality style tours. Plu raising your payout is possible even till a insane level but then you have to make sure you are getting it some where els. like an upsell or a cross sale to one of your other sites. either way you can't reward the affiliate for or you will never make a buck. :)

you could pay $25 with the best sites on the net and i'd send there before you paid $40 per trial

everythings automated and built right.. Been running programs for 9 years now. :)

I dont screw anyone over and we shoot our own exclusive content.

FUCK FUCK FUCK, I just typed out a reply to this post, was about to press submit reply and I got a powercut. Rather than rewrite the whole fucking thing which I probably couldnt do now here is a summary of my reply:

a) Ive never been one who thought it right for a sponsor to take my traffic and not give me credit on a popup sale.

b) With console free tours I can (and do) get my links in all the right places where they wouldnt otherwise be because they are clean.

c) I am prepared to forego any additional sales opportunities generated by popups if the sponsor does give me credit mainly because of point b.

d) Ive analysed my stats over the past couple of years and easily noticed that the brute force approach of sheer numbers generated via console free links easily outweigh the less numbers/more opportunity that consoles bring (less numbers as most of the good places wont list consoles).

Now for Roger, I suspect I am your typical average webmaster, but the current sponsors I use on PPS range from $32 to $50. However my best PPS is $35 a pop, so although higher payouts are great, it still comes down to earnings. However I will add that I would push you more if the incentive is there.

I would *start* pushing you guys if I was ever able to talk to you or a rep over ICQ. I tried 10 times before and never got 1 reply. I just need more content to promote you guys, nothing else.
